The 22nd Triennial Congress of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) is scheduled to take place at ICC JEJU in Jeju, South Korea, from August 25 to 29, 2024. This prestigious event, hosted by the IEA and organized by the Ergonomics Society of Korea (ESK), anticipates the participation of over 1,500 delegates from more than 70 countries.

Under the theme "Better Life Ergonomics for Future Humans," the 2024 Congress will explore how emerging technologies can enhance the quality of human life, both at work and during leisure activities. Additionally, significant attention will be given to the application of human factors and ergonomics (HFE) in improving technologies. The program will feature theme-related sessions, but the Congress will also encompass a wide range of traditional and emerging HFE topics and their practical applications.

What is the IEA Congress?

For people engaged in Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE), the IEA Triennial Congress is important for many reasons. Most of all, the Congress offers an overview of current HFE research and practice. It gives researchers and practitioners an opportunity to publicly present achievements which they have made in the past three years. It gives people an opportunity to exchange up-to-date HFE knowledge. It gives an opportunity for young students and researchers to interact with world-class researchers and practitioners. It gives IEA an opportunity to promote good HFE research and practice on a global scale and provide services to its member societies and their members. It gives IEA an opportunity to present new developments in HFE that domain specialists may not be aware of, and it provides networking opportunities which are valued by the participants. The congress attracts interested people from science, practice, industry, government and related NGOs from around the world.

IEA2024 – the next IEA Congress

The next IEA Congress will be held August 25th -29th, 2024 on Jeju Island, in Korea. The theme of the 22nd Triennial Congress of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA2024) is Better Life Ergonomics for Future Humans. The 2024 Congress will explore how emerging technologies can enhance the quality of human life, both at work and during leisure activities. Additionally, significant attention will be given to the application of human factors and ergonomics (HFE) in improving technologies. The program will feature theme-related sessions, but the Congress will also encompass a wide range of traditional and emerging HFE topics and their practical applications.

Preparations are advancing well and the congress promises to keep up the high standard that the previous IEA Congresses have set. Reserve the dates.

Welcome to CCCE 2024!
Oslo, Norway 丨May 24-26, 2024

Welcome to the official website of 2024 4th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (CCCE 2024). CCCE 2024 is an international symposium on future computer, intelligent system, information engineering, network engineering, mobile computing and communication engineering and will be held in Oslo, Norway during May 24-26, 2024.
https://ccce.net/cfp-ccce2024.pdf

Communications engineering, also known as communication technology (also known as information engineering, telecommunications engineering, formerly known as long-distance communication engineering, weak engineering) which is an important branch of electronic engineering, but is also one of the basic disciplines. Communication technology and communication industry are one of the fastest growing fields since the 1980s, and they are also one of the important signs of human beings entering the information society. Whether domestically or internationally, communication technology is developing rapidly and has great results, but it still cannot meet the current society's demand for information, and the development of communication engineering is also facing challenges. For example, in order to meet the needs of social production and life, the emergence of 5G mobile is the best embodiment, and it has a huge advantage in future development.

In the current globalization development, active international exchanges can better promote the development of science and technology. CCCE 2024 is an opportunity to academics, scientists, engineers, researchers, manufacturers and users to discuss, to present and to access the results of their research work on recent developments in these fields, and to promote intercommunion and international collaboration between participants in these fields and related fields. Authors from academia as well as industry working within the scopes of CCCE 2024 are invited to submit their papers. We hope that the conference results will lead to significant contributions to the knowledge in these up-to-date scientific fields.
Publication & Indexing

All submissions will be peer reviewed, and the accepted papers will be published into Springer Book Series-Communications in Computer and Information Science. Springer-CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings.

ISBN: 978-1-7923-8987-0 / USA

Objective and Areas of Interest:

IHSI 2023  Conference aims to provide a global forum for presenting and discussing novel approaches, design tools, methodologies, techniques, and solutions for integrating people, intelligent technologies and automation, and artificial cognitive systems in all areas of human endeavor in industry, economy, government, and education, including but not limited to energy, transportation, urbanization and infrastructure development, digital manufacturing, social development, human health, sustainability, new generation of service systems, as well as safety, risk assurance, autonomy, and cybersecurity in both civilian and military contexts.

IHSI 2023 Conference will focus on advancing the theory and applications of artificial cognitive systems and human-artificial systems collaboration by adopting a hybrid-centered design approach that utilizes and expands on the current knowledge of human-centered design and intelligent systems supported by cognitive software and engineering, smart data analytics, large scale socioeconomic simulations, and next generation computer visualization.  This interdisciplinary conference will also expand the boundaries of the current state-of-the-art by investigating the pervasive complexity that underlies the most profound problems facing contemporary society today.

All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by three independent referees from the International Editorial Board. Papers in the theoretical category should deal with theories, models, concepts, and structures; papers in the generic category should present research results of broad applicability; and papers in the applied category should show how research is translated into technological innovations for intelligent human-artificial systems collaboration.

INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR OF ERGONOMICS

Poznan - POLAND, May 27th - 28th 2022

XXXII SEMINAR OF ERGONOMICS

It is 27 years since our conference became an international conference. This creates an opportunity to exchange experiences between practitioners and theoreticians not only from Poland like before, but also from various countries.

By organizing International Ergonomic Seminars, we try to deal with various areas of ergonomics, although we always choose a leading topic. Initially, these were topics related to teaching ergonomics, labour protection and work safety. The development of many fields, and thus new challenges for ergonomics, also had an impact on the issues raised at our conference. The upcoming XXXII Seminar's main topic will be "Ergonomics: evolution of challenges & solutions". We hope it will allow us to broaden the issues of ergonomics which were discussed in the past.
Due to the pandemic situation, the seminar planned two years ago will take place two years later. Many things have changed during this period, and it will therefore affect the topics of the conference and the research interests of ergonomists.

Topics

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Evolution of ergonomic methods

  • New challenges in ergonomics

  • Product and Process Ergonomics

  • Education and training programmes in work safety and ergonomics

  • Industrial Ergonomics

  • Ergonomic problems of industry 4.0

  • Ergonomic criteria in occupational risk assessment

  • Medical Sciences Contribution in Ergonomics

  • Ergonomics in information processes and management systems

  • Ergonomic design

  • Cognitive Ergonomics

  • Ergonomics in Occupational Health and Safety Management

  • Human Resources Management

  • New areas of ergonomics applications
